On The Fly

Walking along a gravel-bottom stream in a pair of waders. Tying a hand-made dry fly to the line. Looking through gin-clear water to spot a fish upstream. Back-casting the rod to send the fly sailing overhead through pristine air. Watching the fish rise to grab the fly and dance on the water. Feeling the surge of adrenaline marked by the tug on the line. Doing all of this while surrounded by beautiful, natural scenery and wildlife. This is why the fly-fishing experience can be addicting.
