Anoka, Minnesota: America’s Halloween Capital

Since 1920 when it hosted one of the country’s first Halloween parades, Anoka, Minnesota has been known as the Halloween capital of America. The town hosts a wide variety of events throughout the month of October each year, including pumpkin carving contests, house decorating contests, and its signature parade. Can’t make it this year? You can watch the parade and some of the other festivities streaming on the town’s website.

Also, happy Halloween! We hope everyone is having a fun and safe evening.
