The dos and don’ts of souvenirs

CNN has a few recommendations for what not to do when it comes time to pick up some souvenirs. Some strike us as reasonable (unless it’s for a little kid, maybe leave the stuffed animals behind) while others seem a bit more subjective (the prohibition on local sports team paraphernalia; one of us here at Travel Brigade collects sports jerseys everywhere he goes). What are your souvenir standards?
