Escape to Moab

Delicate Arch 2 mediumTravel Brigade takes in the red rock beauty of Moab, Utah, for hiking, canyoneering, mountain biking, rock climbing and river rafting in an area that has both Arches and Canyonlands national parks. We’ll have interviews with Discover Moab and the Red Cliffs Lodge located right on the banks of the Colorado River, and we’ll also find out about exploring slot canyons from the rigger Danny Boyle and James Franco consulted when making the movie 127 Hours, just one of many Hollywood movies filmed in this stunning location. After a day in the outdoors, in our “Ya Gotta Eat!” segment we’ll tell you about local Castle Creek winery, a classic drive-in with handmade buffalo chili burgers and a local diner’s breakfast concoction called the “Sweetwater Skillet.” Enjoy the trip!
