The Camino de Santiago is the most famous pilgrimage route in the world, spanning nearly 500 miles across Spain. Traditionally it’s done by foot; however, more and more people are doing the pilgrimage by bicycle. Walking the path usually takes 4 to 5 weeks, but bicycling can cut the trip to 7 days, leaving plenty of time to explore some stops along the way, like the Santa Maria de Leon Cathedral or some of the north of the country’s wineries.
