It’s not too late in the year to head to Boulder, Utah for a weekend getaway or day trip. Anasazi State Park and Museum, located on the edge of town, is home to the Coombs Site, one of the largest Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites west of the Colorado. The park’s museum displays a wide array of artifacts recovered from excavations of the site. The town is also near Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Be sure to stop at Hell’s Backbone Grill, which grows all of its fruit, vegetables and herbs on its own organic farm and obtains its meat from local farmers.
